Terms & Condtions

By participating in this Contest, each Participant is indicating their agreement to abide by the following Terms and Conditions and same is available on UGC Contest T&Cs page (referred to as the “Contest Website”):

  • The “yourfoodyourrules’’ Contest organized by Veeba, registered trademark of VRB Consumer Products Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “VRB”) comprises a contest wherein individuals may participate in the contest by uploading their recipes on their social media handle (Youtube, Facebook, Instagram), followed by registering and submitting the link on yourfoodyourules.veeba.in for further review. The contest will begin from 1st November, 2023 and end on the 1st December,2023 (“Contest Period”).
  • The Contest is valid only for individuals over 18 years of age, residing in India. (“Participant”)
  • There shall be up to two (2) selected entries in total (each a “Winner”) during the Contest Period.
  • Individuals participating in the Contest shall get a chance to win the following Prize after adhering all terms and conditions mentioned in this contest:

    - The Winners will get a chance to feature in the Masterclass segment of Masterchef India 2023.

  • A Participant may participate in the Contest multiple times but is eligible to win the Prize only once under the Contest. Each Contest submission associated with a social media handle and/or mobile number shall be valid only once.
  • To participate in the Contest, the Participant has to:
    • Participate in the contest by uploading their recipe on any social media platform (Youtube, Facebook or Instagram)
    • Tag @VeebaIndia/ @Veeba.in/ @Veeba_in
    • The Participant must use the Contest Hashtag (“#YourFoodYourRules”), and follow/ subscribe to Veeba India in the post to make it a valid entry.
    • An individual's participation in accordance with the terms of Section 6 shall be considered as an "Entry".
  • Winner Selection Criteria:
    • Winners will be selected by VRB’s in-house chefs on the basis of creativity of the recipe after adhering to the Terms & Conditions mentioned in this contest
    • VRB shall announce Winners at the end of the Contest Period, within 48 hours of the conclusion of Contest Period.
    • Entries that fulfil all the guidelines mentioned herein shall be considered as valid and eligible to win.
    • Each Winner shall be contacted by a VRB’ representative via direct message on their respective Social Media handle after announcement of the Winner(s) and each Winner must respond with the required details (name, valid ID proof and/or proof of address, contact number, email ID and postal address) within 72 hours. In case the Winner does not communicate and/or fails to provide required details within these 72 hours of the result declaration, he/she will not be eligible to win the Prize and the Prize shall be transferred to the next eligible winner.
    • No exchanges will be entertained.
    • One (1) participant is eligible to win only one (1) slot, irrespective of the number of Entries he/she makes.
    • To and fro travel to Mumbai and accommodation for one day will be borne by VRB.
    • 'NO EXCHANGE, NO REFUND' and ‘NON-TRANSFERABLE’ is applied for the winner basis.
  • It is expressly clarified that any Entry which falls under any of the following criteria will not be considered a Valid Entry under these Terms and Conditions and will be immediately disqualified from being eligible for the Prize:
    • Images or posts containing objectionable or obscene content (such as pornography, nude pictures, objectionable gestures, etc.);
    • Images or posts containing offensive or inflammatory content such as swear words or content that explicitly or implicitly demonstrate discrimination based on colour, community, caste, creed, nationality etc.;
    • Images or posts that contain any content that maligns VRB;
    • Images or posts that contain images or references to competitors of VRB in the background;
    • Images or posts that contain politically themed images such as photographs of political leaders, party signs, symbols or logos;
    • Comments accompanying the images or posts that contain any of the above content;
    • Use of hashtags other than the relevant approved Contest Hashtags; or
    • Any comment or image/video that contain content which violate copyright laws or the intellectual property rights of a third party.
  • All right, title and interest, including but not limited to the Intellectual Property Rights, in the promotional material(s), and in any and all Entries submitted, or other materials created during or for the Contest, shall vest solely and exclusively with VRB at all times. VRB may use such material in any medium for any purpose in any reasonable manner it sees fit, without any permission and or payment to the Participant. Copyright in any such material remains the sole property of VRB.
  • VRB shall not publish or disclose any personal details about the Winners of the Contest (excluding the names of the Winners which may be published on the Contest Website), including but not limited to their telephone number, address, etc., as such disclosure may amount to a violation of the privacy rights of the Winners.
  • VRB reserves the right to amend, modify or cancel the Contest without any prior notice.
  • VRB assumes no liability or responsibility for:
    • Any errors, omissions or inaccuracies of content or Entry/ies or Participant’s personal details.
    • Personal injury or property damage of any nature resulting from Participant’s access to, Participant’s exposure to or Participant’s participation in the Contest.
    • Technical failure or any other causes beyond the control of VRB.
  • At VRB’s request, participants with valid entries as per these terms agree to participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the Prize, free of charge, and they consent to the VRB using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are winners (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in promotional material or in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Contest and promoting any products manufactured, distributed, marketed and/or supplied under the trademarks owned by VRB.
  • No cash payment will be made in lieu of the Prize.
  • The Prize is personal to the Winners and is not transferrable and cannot be sold under any circumstances.
  • VRB shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising out of the Contest or due to participation by any person in the Contest.
  • VRB shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to Act of God, Governmental actions, epidemic, pandemic, other force majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for any such loss with respect to the Prize.
  • Content of Entries and all related rights shall remain the exclusive property of VRB
  • No portion of the Prizes offered under the Contest is redeemable for cash. The Prizes are also not refundable or transferable.
  • No Prize will be awarded if the information presented by the Participant(s) at the time of entering the Contest, or at any subsequent stage is factually incorrect.
  • The Prizes shall be provided to the Winners on an "as-is basis" and without any warranty or guarantee concerning the quality, suitability or comfort, and VRB and/or its associates, affiliates and/ or its management, directors, officers, agents, representatives shall not be responsible for or liable (for deficiency and/ or defect of any product/service and/or the Prize or for any kind of consequential damages/ loss, in any manner whatsoever.
  • If a Participant is dissatisfied with the Contest or the Contest Terms, his/her sole and exclusive remedy is to not participate in the Contest. If any Participant has any grievance with respect to the Prize, he/she may directly contact Sony TV or VRB.
  • The Winner(s) shall not exchange or assign the chance to participate in the masterclass and shall not be entitled to any compensation whether in cash or kind from VRB.
  • Successfully entering the Contest and participating in Masterclass segment of Masterchef is subject to all requirements set forth herein.
  • The Contest shall be governed and construed in accordance with Indian laws. All disputes relating to this Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at Gurgaon only.
  • VRB’s decision shall be final in all respect.
